Creating an enjoyable home learning environment

The home learning environment in the early years of a child’s life can have a significant impact not just on their educational development, but also future life success. This is a big responsibility under normal circumstances, but during a pandemic when schools are closed, it may seem overwhelming. This session will give you the confidence to create a positive and enjoyable home learning environment for everyone. Whether your family is large or small, you can create the ideal environment for your child to learn and explore about themselves, and the world around them in a relaxed, positive way. This parent talk links to Session 7: Planning your child’s day to include learning, moving, mindfulness, and joy giving top tips for a successful daily routine. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to the presenter.
