A Minute of Calm

GOAL:

  • Spend a calm moment filled with positive thoughts.

MATERIALS:

  • A comfortable place to sit.

EXPERIENCE:

This beautiful activity will help you improve your well-being, increase your positive thoughts, and reduce the stress levels present in everyday life.

During pregnancy mommies-to-be often have lots of moments of stress and worry, on top of the normal moments of stress that occur throughout the day because of routines and responsibilities.

With this simple activity you will be reducing your level of stress. It is important that you find ways to relax, as it promotes the healthy development of your baby.

  • Find a moment a day, every day, and settle into a room where you feel calm.
  • Take a few minutes to be calm and quiet and think about your baby and how much fun the two of you will have together. Make a mental list of all the positive things that have happened to you during the day, however minor they may be. Breathe deeply and remain silent.
